Just checked my site again for the first time this month and it appears the auto archive has added April now its April, which is really good news.

Im now back home for three weeks for easter and so should have more time to add to my site, with deadlines fast approaching it is key i start uploading stuff soon.

Just checked the final layout of the site and it seems to display correctly in Safari, so thats all good. Now everything is up and running I am going to try and start making regular posts informaing of updates and project developements. Over the next few weeks I am going to start uploading all the work for this year.

Today I got the results for my mini organ project completed last term. 70% seemed a reasonable mark and the comments seem to indicate I'm on the right lines with that kind of project. This term's electric dice project is 50/50 practical and written work so my aim is to achieve an equally good mark.

After a few long days and nights my new site is finally up online. There have been a few major changes this time around. The first of these is the improved graphical design and presentation. The site layout has been kept simple to enable easy browsing around its pages. The colour scheme compliments this very well.

The less obvious of these changes lay within the site code. DIV's and CSS have been used to improve text formatting and replace the majority of tables, especially those used for the layout of background images. Another change is the use of a database which holds the sites content and php to extract the dynamic database information and write the html for it.

I have set up a forum with different message boards handling topics from course discussion to favourite music. News updates will be posted on this page and links to all the latest site additions can be found to the left.

Over the summer I plan to develop the site further to include a section on some of the stuff I've been working on outside of Uni.
